<\/a><\/p>\nOverall we had three main ideas\/themes that we presented to the client:<\/p>\n
1. Detective Game<\/p>\n
2. Mafia-like Game<\/p>\n
3. Super Hero Game<\/p>\n
Overall it was decided that we liked the concept of a Detective Game the most. One of our main points in this game theme was to create awareness of the possible dangers on the Internet. As a way to create awareness, we thought it would be best for the player character to observe and help a friend in such a situation (like cyber-bullying) and then have a\u00a0similar\u00a0event happen to the player as well, where they can then successfully detect signs or cues of cyber-bully and be able to avoid such a situation.<\/p>\n
This followed up with another client meeting where we discussed more about\u00a0our brainstorming ideas, and also more specifics about our DC trip.<\/p>\n
We followed that up with another round of rather general discussion in terms of a detective game, with the programmers breaking off to explore some technology options, \u00a0as well as try their hands on a new platform. More specifically, we took this time to familiarize our programmers in our most likely platform, Flash and Actionscript 3 programming.<\/p>\n
The artists on our team also took the time to fully develop the logo and start work on the poster. As you can see we had various iterations of the logo before deciding on our final choice:<\/p>\n
