It includes installing projection, phidget sensors, and the containers that hold the sensors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Back-end Editor + Bonus Manual<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>The design is a system tool with <strong>an open access to the contents<\/strong>, which will be realized by a back-end editor. It was established as a sharing space where the guests can experience VR,&nbsp;and an interactive projection room, where it still holds a past ETC project,&nbsp; the Kaleidoscope.<br>The biggest differences between us and the Kaleidoscope is that, <strong>we\u2019re looking to create a new platform for the room<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Research<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Define the Problem<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-large is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p> The room is a <strong>best-kept secret<\/strong> on the CMU campus. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Not many people have been using this space, and most CMU students are NOT aware of its existence. There are restricted opening hours for the room, which brought up a concern of the <strong>accessibility to our design<\/strong>. And, besides the students from the lectures, there is only an average of 1~2 new visitors, which were mostly the passersby, each day. And these visitors were mostly the passersby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Target Audience: The Passersby<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"960\" height=\"540\" src=\"https:\/\/projects-old.etc.cmu.edu\/the-other-side\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Reserach_ta2.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1202\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We further discovered&nbsp;that people usually came into the Tepper with a very clear intention on why they\u2019re here.
