Therefore, after quarter, we tried a new way in design and script. Instead of using linear Q&amp;A style, we tried listing a lot of options and started with user giving command directly. The playtest results are somehow expected. Players can only hit few options we give in script. Next week, we gonna have more design meeting and combine two styles(linear and flat) together to make players feel the freedom while understanding their goals. At the time of week 11, we have completed\u00a0<\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aspiration: 2 story tracks (Target: 3) \u2192 Third aspiration in the design process<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Daily routine: 9 interactions (Target: 20~25) \u2192 Planning to add more options here<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Events: 8 in total (Target: 15~20) \u2192\u00a0 4 in \u201cFriend of the world\u201d, 4 in \u201cMusical genius\u201d<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p>After discussing with our client, we all agree with the target of the semester. We want to record all the player&#8217;s decisions and behavior that can help us answer questions during the design and debugging process. For example, which branch of the stories is popular? or maybe some branches that the player can never reach. We followed the code example from our client and set up the system on DynamoDB using AWS(Amazon Web Service). Including the design documents, source code, tech documents, game assets, and unit test.
