Do \u2018em up Derby is the most polished experience we\u2019ve delivered so far! On Monday we got our final assignment from Sony: Take what we just built and design a single-player mode for it. We should retain the driving and shooting mechanics of the previous game but design a new experience that is fun for one player instead of four.<\/p>\n<p>Our new story is this: the player takes on the role of a new mafia good getting his feet wet in the business. We\u2019re designing a larger, more interesting city, and working on the driving mechanics <a href=\"https:\/\/projects-old.etc.cmu.edu\/playstation-ignite\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/onEsheet.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-256\" style=\"cursor: url('chrome:\/\/thumbnailzoomplus\/skin\/images\/tzp-cursor.gif'), crosshair;\" alt=\"onEsheet\" src=\"https:\/\/projects-old.etc.cmu.edu\/playstation-ignite\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/onEsheet-260x300.png\" width=\"260\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/projects-old.etc.cmu.edu\/playstation-ignite\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/onEsheet-260x300.png 260w, https:\/\/projects-old.etc.cmu.edu\/playstation-ignite\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/onEsheet.png 591w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 260px) 100vw, 260px\" \/><\/a>to feel more fluid and fun. The art style and theme will remain the same, but we\u2019ll be taking this extra time to really polish up what we\u2019ve got and add lots of variety to the landscape. The One-sheet for our design is one the next page, so take a look!<\/p>\n<p>On Monday we\u2019ll be presenting our work to ETC faculty for \u201cSoft Opening\u201d to get feedback as we look towards finishing up the semester.
