The Work This Week:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The most significant aspect of this week was our halves presentation on Monday, which can be viewed here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Preliminary feedback is that our presentation was strong, but some of our answers to questions asked were vague, which led us to thinking about nailing down our prototype, and scope, as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

As part of this process, we are hoping to have a fully completed prototype by next week, which combines the PC + iPad interactions, utilizes the “where are you from?” question, and then displays the associative visualizations<\/strong>.\u00a0 This is then something that we can test during ETC Playtest Day on Saturday November 3rd<\/strong>, and also show to our client for feedback.<\/p>\n

For our prototype, we focused on combining the frontend and backend elements into one (for now, we are testing with using CMU-based typography instead of the map for better efficiency):<\/p>\n
