We\u00a0set\u00a0up\u00a0several\u00a0characters\u00a0of different racial background\u00a0for hiring actor and\u00a0developing stories around them.<\/p>\n

In order to build up\u00a0player’s connection and understanding of the\u00a0characters, we decided to reuse characters in \u00a0different stories.<\/p>\n

We wrote six short stories with university environment, involving Black, White, American Indian and Chinese students.\u00a0Some of the\u00a0characters were victim of microaggression in one scene and became the one who was making the offensive statement in another scene, so that player could see different perspectives.<\/p>\n

After several times of discussion,\u00a0we made comments and changes to the stories and brought them to teachers\u00a0for\u00a0more feedback and suggestions.<\/p>\n

For UI design, we made\u00a0the first draft of the main interacting screen for the\u00a0previsualization video.<\/p>\n

According to the feedback in the team meeting, we had the second version which removed the textbox, and changed font types and layout.<\/p>\n
