Hi friends! Hope you\u2019re having fun in the Castle of Miracles! I am Tom Foolery the Court Jester, and you are here at a special time, because nighttime is when the Castle is truly enchanting. It\u2019s almost time for Stellar the Star Fairy to do her magic!<\/span><\/p>\n

Tom, I don\u2019t think you should tell them all of our secrets.<\/span><\/p>\n

Why not? These are my friends and I think they\u2019d be interested to hear about our magical home.<\/span><\/p>\n

Well, how long have you lived here?<\/span><\/p>\n

Tom<\/span><\/p>\n

After Jester Academy, I moved to the Castle to brighten everyone\u2019s visit with a little laughter. I have been here for a long time. But due to the magical manor market, I have been looking for new castles to call home.<\/span><\/p>\n

Narrator<\/span><\/p>\n

What?! Tom, what do you mean?<\/span><\/p>\n

Tom<\/span><\/p>\n

Just last week I bought a bouncy castle, so I have something to <\/span>fall back on<\/span><\/i>!<\/span><\/p>\n

Oh Tom, you are so silly. What do you do to pass the time?<\/span><\/p>\n

Tom<\/span><\/p>\n

Well, sometimes I <\/span>watch <\/span><\/i>the time go by, but I was just in a staring contest with Joel the Troll over there.<\/span><\/p>\n

I notice you two have staring contests a lot!<\/span><\/p>\n

Tom<\/span><\/p>\n

We like to play games, it is all in good fun.<\/span><\/p>\n

Because, I keep buying them, but I have no place to put them. You could say I have no <\/span>shelf<\/span><\/i> control!<\/span><\/p>\n

(Clearly amused with himself, and laughing at his own joke) Get it?! Shelf control! Shelf control!<\/span><\/p>\n

Maybe you should ask Murphy and Sprinkles to help you build some bookshelves?<\/span><\/p>\n

Tom<\/span><\/p>\n

I would, but no matter how <\/span>gingerly<\/span><\/i> they try, their handy work has a tendency to <\/span>crumble<\/span><\/i>. That reminds me, do you know why Buttons reads so many books?<\/span><\/p>\n

Narrator<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m not sure Tom, why?<\/span><\/p>\n

Tom<\/span><\/p>\n

Because squirrels learn to read in <\/span>elemen-tree<\/span><\/i> school! And do you know how Buttons keeps books organized?<\/span><\/p>\n

Narrator<\/span><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t know, how?<\/span><\/p>\n

Tom<\/span><\/p>\n

Buttons puts them in order using <\/span>acorn-yms<\/span><\/i>!<\/span><\/p>\n

One thing I love even more than telling jokes is sharing stories, and books are full of them. <\/span><\/p>\n

(to the kids\/ audience) What\u2019s your favorite book?<\/span><\/p>\n

Oh wow! \u00a0It\u2019s great to be back here in the Castle of Miracles. \u00a0I have missed being up on my Perch but more importantly missed this Florida weather!- I\u2019ve found that Pittsburgh is not for this jester, my joints were frozen over! \u00a0It is so cold up there- in winter they open their refrigerator boxes to heat their houses!<\/span><\/p>\n

Sir Rusty, It is great to see you have moved into the court with us- it seems you don\u2019t have door duty anymore!<\/span><\/p>\n

But it is especially lovely to see all of you, and I\u2019m excited that you could join us for this special celebration today. At this time I would like to acknowledge my very talented friends from Carnegie Mellon\u2019s Entertainment Technology Center. Alex Go-beler , Niharika Jain, Ra-jat Gupta , Josh Danzig , Raisa Chowdery , Atul Goill, and Dustin Stephan. We appreciate you and thank you as well as Tim Eck , Andy Hossmer, Ricardo Washington, Brenda Harger and Dave Culylba who all aided in the magic to bring me back here in the Castle of Miracles, Better than ever. \u00a0I appreciate you, itec, Weigl control. all of the generous companies, and everyone here at Give Kids and the ETC who also helped make me come to life again!<\/span><\/p>\n
