It\u2019s a \u00bc checkpoint for our project. Faculties from ETC visited our project room and gave us many useful feedbacks.&nbsp;<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Metrics<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To help faculties better understand our goal for this project, we came up with a metric for our project and decided our most important metrics are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Client Requirements (Defining, Meeting, Communicating)<\/li><li>Technology &#8211; Hardware\/Software (Functionality, # of Known Bugs, Architecture)<\/li><li>Gameplay \/ Interactivity (Flow, Mechanics, Progress Curve, Immersion, Engagement, UX)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/XrbL_9Zkl5SqyBXlte50ZPbON-_z06ZRlKYowCdLDe9yn77sDr8jGDkpEVOOKWKBEIoVnq9Po35y7w3h_YZyr3kaH21mumsNYGaKOuVOad-N-_xbYxoxjOqBUAqP7pwlj2YIPl0b\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Composition Box<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We also came up with a composition box, detailing our goal for the project, our initial idea, and our references.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh3.googleusercontent.com\/4-Qbw1PE0_ZMSRoCnpUYiAmv1ZmneMy74t1nwoHukB2ducfDgS3llr6iIsMxSLLDK4NCrG59OTHVVDCPN8U2Q_OMl7Y8_tzAMYEVuq_Y_je_di8IZrqCbu71a4xRPr_amkojRZmw\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Slides<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We made a short google slide, stating the basics of our project: who is our client, what are we making, what are our goals, our basic UX design, and our main questions.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh5.googleusercontent.com\/yaBUeEb1uEzgUKvdHqQyXnJPEsJBNcD9eLFIkCqi24UxiCvHW7PIL_JAerCR62DOLsrZqQho_TadvaE8ZD2ueOT2hD4HCljhMa8ehSe_wVJZDN6vMzxVJp_eFpVsK838E2WL3vCl\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We established our goal as:<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>To help attendees better navigate the conference with booth recommendations<\/li><li>To provide a more engaging experience using digital and non-digital elements<\/li><li>To gather feedback for the conference in a creative way<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We made a UX flow chart to show them what we are planning to make:<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh6.googleusercontent.com\/5G_Mr6B3xTXvhk_YHdkcygfCm1AljPCPrRI7QAClfNbEcY3HXMWTIZLGkZ620X0-Pkaw3N0W2Y__HfwwEwcCzflHanWIOeHT4NIJZNeOZ6VwlJBPYD_iMcZyxOuJxPEfw49P5OFz\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The question we asked, which we think is the most important to us, are:<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>How to get people to use this app?<\/li><li>How to help people remember this experience after playing?<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Feedback<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We got a lot of useful feedback!<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/s3inLnE4BxM1hrYdmTSDOG2JsV2mWRXYsh-L0IrEHqao8dzwIjGnM8VycIgNecaP9BSoTiYqflOVNetJvKyHfOhGA6Catp-sQOAIV5hbunZrvG6mm794QmkLG_hV-ztmAXiejOwN\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh6.googleusercontent.com\/Qo3W0BI0eDrQR5wmdEd26aa0RLnSjVPgDZQictTO_xcvLLO6zu2XcQdUD1Ku23-E5LGMcFoMW23oKFNBU-E3LLqSgszPP8IihtJECDqcmAS0Aaaf5ZoqxtQY7eOq538mkbdg5J1a\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There are some we think are especially useful, not necessarily the best option for our project, but inspired us to think about aspects we didn\u2019t think enough about:<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Think about how to incentivize the users<\/li><li>Have a time-limited survey &#8211; you have to finish in a certain time<\/li><li>Collective activity: if the whole conference get ceratin feedback\/visits, we\u2019ll have a happy hour or something<\/li><li><strong>Survey for fun<\/strong> &#8211; like \u201cwho would you be in games of the throne\u201d<\/li><li><strong>Check out UPMC behavioral health and smart technology conference<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Help people optimize their time at the conference<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Have a map<\/strong><ul><li><strong>Where\u2019s the booth<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Where\u2019s the restroom<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Where\u2019s the sit and charging place<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Don\u2019t store password<\/strong><ul><li><strong>Need to think about safety concerns &#8211; what if the system gets hacked<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s a lot to think about! We\u2019ll reflect on the feedbacks, and bring them up in our next client meeting.
