In accordance with the Games for Change Template and Schell Games Guide for Transformational Experiences, we decided to approach researching our topic with 3 metrics in mind – Audience, Problem and Change. After extensive research, the following are the areas we identified for a potentially powerful experience:<\/p>\n

  1. Subject : Risks due to gun possession<\/span>
    \n<\/span>Audience : People who are considering buying a gun for the first time<\/span>
    \n<\/span>Transformation : There\u2019s no such thing as a responsible gun owner<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Subject : Hopelessness and Apathy towards on issue<\/span>
    \n<\/span>Audience : People who have given up on the issue<\/span>
    \n<\/span>Transformation : To show people reasons to believe in change and ways to contribute<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Subject : Factors that have led up to issue<\/span>
    \n<\/span>Audience : People who do not understand factors causing the issue and preventing progress<\/span>
    \n<\/span>Transformation : To shine a light on these factors thereby giving people tools to engage with the issue<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    We also created a form for us to key our ideas into. This ensured that each idea would hit the main points, such as target audience, desired transformation, underlying message, etc.<\/p>\n

    Unfortunately, we weren’t able to get as much done this week as we would have liked, as our Friday, Saturday and Sunday was consumed by the Global Game Jam, which the entire team took part in.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
