Quarters is coming up! As a result we’ve been busy preparing. Here’s what we’ve been doing.<\/p>\n
-We shot our first 360 footage. We took over a few minutes of the improv 2 class and recorded a game of Enemy Defender. From this we have produced our first 360 demo
\n-We composited our Hybrid footage into the 3D model, including implementing binaural sound. Binaural sound will be added to the 360 demo over the weekend
\n-We worked out our production and pre-production pipelines
\n-We took our (awesome) team photo.<\/p>\n
That said this week wasn’t without its challenges.<\/p>\n
-Our first tests with the 360 footage had difficulty. Stitching accurately was an issue, as was lagging playback. These are issues our programmer and TD are tackling now.
\n-Our synopsis received some criticism of being to large in scope. We are heading back to the drawing board to work out what we can do effectively<\/p>\n
