Calgon carbon is a company dealing carbon with purification, separation and concentration  of liquids, gases and other media. We visited them to get a industry lab environment feel a like. The stuff they did was impressing, though the products or elements they work over there are different direction then what we are looking for. Now I really want to visit University of New Haven as soon as possible to get a feel of what a crime lab look like.
