break down our fantasy statement and develop prototypes that shows the game mechanics of each game verb.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element statement.<\/p><ol><li>Make<\/li><li>Moving<\/li><li>Attack<\/li><\/ol><p>We are creating prototypes based on these verbs to explore our core mechanism. There are so many questions to ask such as<\/p><ul><li>Is the player building multiple building like a city or a building?<\/li><li>If it moves, is it walking, flying, or swimming?<\/li><li>Our initial game object was a <em>castle<\/em>. But we changed into a\u00a0<em>thing<\/em>, because we want them to build something. If so, what are you going to make at the end?<\/li><li>If the thing attacks, what kind of attack can it perform?<\/li><li>Why do you need a castle to live in?<\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Is the player inside the castle? Or is castle a character?<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the castle moves, why?<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Why do you need a castle?<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Does the castle have a personality?<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How does the castle attack? Why it needs to attack? Attack what?<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What is the pleasure of making a castle?<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How to build the castle? How to build inside and outside?<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What are you in the game?<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What are you trying to do?<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What is the setting?<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Is the castle a castle or just some huge structure?<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What will the player pattern be like?<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What kind of post-apocalyptic setting specifically?<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Is this a sandbox game? This prototype focuses more on <em>huge\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0<em>controlling\u00a0<\/em>game element. The game mechanic is similar to the game: <em>FAR: Lone Sails.<\/em> This prototype will demonstrate how to control and attack a scale through the camera was effective. We wanted to produce something to create aesthetics of a game. However, there we did not know where to start it from. First, what art department should do is to <span>create <\/span>settings \/ emotion we want to convey. It was hard to come up fortress design because we did not come up with emotion. So, we backed up a little and narrowed down from the top.<\/p><p>Also, critical decision that art department made was to define the game object. It used to be <em>a player creating a thing,\u00a0<\/em>but it was too broad.
